The U15 Boys Maroon team finished in first place at the Heart Of York Tournament in Newmarket this past weekend. They won all 5 games on their way to the championship, including a scoreless final game against Aurora which they won on penalty kicks. The team is coached by Biren Patel.

Sunday August 10, 2014 – The U13 Girls won the Cameron Memorial Tournament in Trenton on the weekend. After finishing first in Pool A, they defeated Belleville Comets in the semi-final and defeated Kawartha Lakes in the final. The team is coached by Brad Collyer.

Sunday August 10, 2014 – Congratulations to Michela Montgomery (U18 Girls) and Shawn Thompson (U18 Boys), who were awarded Mark Forster Scholarships for 2014. Both Michela and Shawn will attend Queen’s University in the fall. The announcement and presentation were made on Sunday afternoon during the Mark Forster Memorial Tournament.

Twelve mens and womens teams competed in the 21st Annual Mark Forster Memorial Tournament at Eastgate Memorial Park on the weekend. Peterborough City U15 Girls won the 7-team Yukon Section at the Ottawa Icebreaker Tournament on May 24/25. After topping their pool, they defeated Almonte Avalanche 1 – 0 in the semifinal and defeated Rockland Rockets by a score of 2 – 0 for the championship. The team is coached by Ken Wheeler and Barry Driscoll.

Peterborough City U14 Girls won the Top Flight (highest) division at the Frank Sobil Spring Classic in Oshawa on May 3/4. They defeated Barrie FC by a score of 2 – 1 in the final game. The team is coached by Mike Everson and Jason Borgatti.
