A big THANK YOU to everyone who participated at the PCSC Annual Family Fun Day at Eastgate Park on Saturday (August 15), either as an organizer, a helper, or just came to have fun under a perfect sky. The children, young and old, had lots of fun at the various activities, including the bouncy castle, dunk tank (thank you to our brave volunteers in the wet seat), races, bubble soccer, and face painting to name a few. This event would not have been possible without the help of our two dozen volunteers, including greeters, game leaders and paramedics. Proceeds from the donations made by those who attended went to City Cares Fund and a local food bank. Special recognition goes out to event organizers Gord and friends for their hard work and planning in the lead up.
