The Peterborough City Soccer Club is proud of the proficiency, motivation and dedication of its Club Technical Coaches as well as the individual volunteer Division/Team Coaches and Managers. The coaches operate under the direction of the Director of Coaching (DOC). Please contact the DOC with any questions related to coaching.
Prior to tryouts, only one team head coach is appointed for each age division. Decisions about whether or not to form a second team and additional coaching appointments as necessary will be made after tryouts, based on both the number and the quality of committed players attending tryouts.
Responsible Coaching
The Responsible Coaching Movement (RCM) is a call to action for sport organizations, parents, and coaches to enact responsible coaching across Canada – on and off the field of play. The PCSC Board of Directors, staff and coaches have pledged their commitment to the principles of the RCM, specifically, implementation of the Rule of Two, Background Screening and Ethics Training. Understanding the Rule of Two, Background Screening and Ethics Training are mandatory for all PCSC coaches.
