Congratulations to Bridgette Powers (U18 Girls), seen in photo with Board member Leanne McLaughlin, and Monty Reid (U16 Boys), who were recently named recipients of the 2026 Joanne and Mark Hogan Award. In addition to their contributions to their teams, Bridgette and Monty were quick to volunteer at club events such as PCSC Tournaments (registration) and Summer Camp. Bridgette and Monty are great role models for our younger players.
This award is made annually to one female and one male Peterborough City youth player best representing skill in soccer, commitment to the game, team and club and team leadership. The award honours the memory of PCSC U12 player Mark Hogan and his mother Joanne who were killed in an automobile accident in 1999 en route to a soccer practice. Throughout their time with Peterborough City, Bridgette and Monty have demonstrated all of the characteristics associated with the Hogan Award. Their teammates, the City community and family are incredibly proud of their efforts.
