The PCSA U15 Girls wrapped up an outstanding season finishing second in the CGSL Division 1 Cup competition in Port Perry on Sunday (September 21). They lost by the narrowest of margins (1 – 0) to Innisfil in the final. Peterborough defeated Newmarket (9-0), Oshawa Kicks (6-2) and Pickering (4-3) to reach the final.
The U15 Girls were also runners-up in CGSL Division 1A league competition finishing with a 7-4-1 (win-tie-loss) record. Earlier this season they won the Ottawa Icebreaker Tournament and the Peterborough Challenge Cup. The team is coached by Ken Wheeler and Barry Driscoll.
