The Tournament Round of the Ontario Cup featuring thirty-two of the best U15 Boys teams in Ontario was held at eight different centres across the province on the weekend (July 26 – 28). The Group 1 Tournament Round was held at Eastgate Park, featuring Peterborough City Blue, Ottawa TFC Academy, Vaughan Azzurri and Woodbridge Strikers. Each team played three games, round-robin style.
Following three days of play, Vaughan Azzurri emerged as the winner of the Peterborough Tournament Round on Sunday afternoon and will advance to the Ontario Cup Quarter-Finals on August 10 when they will play against the Group 2 (Rockwood) Tournament Round winner.
