The recipients of the Mark Forster Scholarship for 2025 were announced recently. Congratulations to Kylee Strano (Brock University – Physical Education), Lillian Bleecker (McMaster University – Mathematics and Statistics) and Georgia Harrington (University of Ottawa – Health Sciences). Kylee and Lillian played on this year’s Peterborough City U18 Girls team while Georgia played on the Senior Women’s team.
The Mark Forster Scholarship was established by the Peterborough City Soccer Club to commemorate the memory of Mark Forster, a former Peterborough City Men’s player who died tragically as the result of an illness in 1988 at the age of 25.
Mark’s parents, Margaret and Fred Forster, presented the awards at the Marvin Buchan Sports Complex (aka the clubhouse) on Tuesday (August 19). We wish them and all PCSC high school graduates the best of luck in the coming year.
