The Peterborough City Soccer Camp is offered cooperatively by the City of Peterborough Recreation Division and the Peterborough City Soccer Club.
The Peterborough City Soccer Club provides instruction and supervision for the summer soccer camp, as it has for many years. Peterborough City S.C. provides qualified coaches and instructors who can inspire a love of the sport while instilling confidence and self-esteem in young participants.
Camps are for a duration of one week and can be for half-days (5 – 6 year olds) or full-days (7 and up). The program runs for four weeks from July 2 to July 26, 2019.
Full-day camps will include a lunchtime trip to Beavermead Park or Rogers Cove for a refreshing swim (water quality depending) or a soaking in the splashpad. The canteen is also available to purchase a nourishing hot lunch and snacks.
The camp continues with its highly successful format offering several different age and skill categories:
- Half Day Micro Soccer Camp for Ages 5 to 6 (week 1 and week 4)
- Full Day Mini Soccer Camp for ages 7 to 9
- Full Day Soccer Development Camp for ages 10 to 12
- Full Day “Just Girls” Camp for ages 7 to 14 (week 1 only)
- Full Day “Rep” Camp for ages U8 to U16 (week 2 and week 3)
- Full Day Goalkeeping Camp for ages 9 to 14 (week 3 only)

Full Days (Monday – Thursday): 9 am to 4 pm
Full Days (Friday): 9 am to 2:30 pm
Drop off: 8:30 am to 9:00 am
Pick up: 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm
Friday Pick up: 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm
ALL DROP OFFS AND PICK UPS WILL BE AT EASTGATE PARK.
Players Will Receive

A soccer ball
Required: Sunblock, hat, lunch, filled water bottle, socks, ball (provided on first day), and smiles.
Gear: Rain suit/track suit, swim wear, proper footwear, shin-guards.
Peterborough City Soccer Camp welcomes girls and boys of all ages (from 5 to 16 years old) and all skill levels for a week of total fun. No previous soccer experience is required. The opportunity to learn and develop as young soccer players at their own pace in a safe environment is our focus. Players who want an extra challenge can register for our rep. camp or goalkeeping camp.
Camp directors are committed to providing campers with quality instruction and a fun filled week of soccer. Their enthusiasm and positive attitudes, enhanced by their playing and coaching backgrounds, will help make sure that each participant leaves camp a better soccer player. They will focus on the fundamentals of soccer through fun activities and small sided games.
Camp instructors are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, skilled and qualified in the game of soccer. Staff is comprised of local representative players and coaches, university and college players and coaches, former NCAA players and semi-professionals.
