Tryouts/Orientation

U7 – U8 Orientation Day at Eastgate

U13 to U18 Tryouts – September 2021

Selection of players for next year’s representative (competitive) U13 – U18 teams begins on the last weekend of September when open tryouts are held at Eastgate Park. If you are interested in playing on a PCSA representative team in the summer of 2022 you must attend tryouts in September 2021.

There is no charge to attend and new players are most welcome. Pre-regristration is not required.

Dates and times of tryouts for each age division will be posted here closer to the time. Please plan to attend all tryout sessions, if possible.

U6 to U12 Orientation – September 2021

Our U6 – U12 Development Program follows the Ontario Soccer guidelines for Long Term Player Development. It provides age-appropriate training and small-sided game formats designed to teach foundational soccer skills while fostering a lasting love for the game. If you wish to register in the 2022 PCSA Development Program you should attend the orientation sessions at Eastgate Park on the last weekend of September 2021.

Orientation sessions are fun and non-competitive in nature. There is no charge to attend and new players are most welcome. Pre-regristration is not required.

It is the goal of the PCSA Development Program to accept every player with the desire and the commitment, subject to maintaining an appropriate coach to player ratio. The number of players that can be accepted into the program is only limited by the number of available coaches. Parents are encouraged to volunteer as mentor coaches or to assist their team in some other capacity.

Dates and times for each age division will be posted here closer to the time. Please plan to attend all scheduled orientation sessions, if possible.

What Happens After Tryouts?

The playing season runs from mid-May to August or early-September. Depending on the age division, indoor and outdoor training, development and conditioning sessions take place over a much longer period.

When tryouts/orientation are over, your main source of information will be the head coach of your age division. If you need additional information about the selection process you should contact the Director of Coaching.
