The U14 Girls squad got an unexpected bonus when they travelled to York Lions Stadium to watch the Canadian Premier League game between York United and FC Edmonton on October 17. In the parking lot head coach Rich Bergman spotted Canadian Men’s National Team and Toronto FC player Richie Laryea who was also taking in the game. Richie was happy to pose for a photograph with a surprised group of the girls.
