Jake - 2nd Last Game

Jake used his speed and agressiveness to challenge the other team and force them into making mistakes. Jake also successfully challenged and gained posession of the ball. After he got the ball, he successfully made several impressive moves to fake out the other team.

Tyler -Last Game

Tyler thought he might like to try playing goal. So last game he got his chance. He played superbly agressively challenging shooters and playing his angles perfectly. Between the defence forcing the shooters wide and Tyler being in the correct position at all times, the other team had to settle for weak shots that went wide. The one shot that did get by, Tyler did a great job to get both hands on it, but it just slipped through.

Team Updates

We finished the tournament with a record of 2 wins, 1 tie, and one loss. We came in 5th out of 15 teams. Unfortunately only the top 4 moved on. There was a 3 way tie to see who qualified and we were edged out. This shows that the tournament was well put together and very competetive. It was especially gratifying to see our player kick the ball out of the air and score just like we practiced last weekend.
