Mark Forster Memorial Tournament
 The Mark Forster Memorial Tournament is an annual tournament for Men's and Women's club teams.
Mark Forster played soccer in the Peterborough Youth Soccer Club in Peterborough before joining the Peterborough City Soccer Association, playing in the Toronto and District Premier Soccer League.
A skilled and committed young midfield player with a great attitude, Mark quickly became popular with team mates and fans alike.
We lost Mark in 1988 at the age of 25.
In 1990: The City of Peterborough and the Peterborough City Soccer Club erected a plaque at East Gate soccer park (number 1 pitch) in Mark's name.

This plaque is to commemerate the memory of Mark Forster. Who during his short lifetime, made major contributions to the game of soccer and other sports in the Peterborough community.
In his memory, this field shall be known as "The Mark Forster Pitch".
Men's and Women's recreational divisions, for club teams only. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. To avoid disappointment please apply early. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to change the format of play due to unforeseen circumstances.
Date of Upcoming Tournament:
Men's and Women's Divisions and Men's over 40: August 11 - August 12, 2012
Prize Money:
- First Place in each division: $300 + Merchandise
- Second Place in each division: $150 + Merchandise
Award presentations will be held following the final games in each division at Eastgate Park.
Parking:
Parking bylaws are enforced at all times on Ashburnham Drive and the parking lot at Beavermead Park. The entrance to the Beavermead campgrounds should not be used. No parking near the bridge. Please check all signs before you park.
Parking for Eastgate 3 is at Eastgate Memorial Park on Ashburnham Drive, then follow the path to the field.

Registration
- Entry Fee (Payable to Mark Forster Tournament, no post dated cheques, please): $350 Canadian Funds.
- Entry fee non refundable after July 29, 2012
- Teams will be informed of status by July 29, 2012
- Registration is 7:00pm to 9:00pm Friday night, or 7:30am to 10:00am Saturday, prior to your first game. All Registration is at Eastgate Park.
Travel permits are required with entry fee. All players must have OSA player books. For travel permits: The PCSA club number is CD2612 and Peter Vanwensem's OSAR number is 0207802.
You must complete the following paperwork:
- Team Registration Form - Mail to the address below.
- Game Sheets - Hand to referee prior to each game.
- Master Roster - submit to the registration desk at the time of your registration. We WILL NOT accept OSA Rosters due to the Privacy Act.
