PCSA Soccer Academy – October 2017
Academy Holding Open Sessions in September (2017)
The PCSA Soccer Academy kicks off its 5th year with a series of open sessions during September 2017. All returning and prospective new players born between 2008 (U10) and 2003 (U15) are invited to attend. There is no cost or obligation to participate in the open sessions, so if you are interested in learning more about the high level training offered by the Academy program this will be an excellent opportunity.
In addition to the open sessions, the Academy Coaches will be present at Eastgate 1 on Saturday, Sep.23 between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. during Orientation for the U10-U12 age groups to speak with interested parents and players.
These open sessions will be an opportunity to meet, interact, and play with current players. Our Academy technical team, led by the Head Coach Gergin Naoumov, will be there to lead the training sessions and answer any questions you may have. This will also give new players a chance to sample the Academy experience before fully committing to the program.

Sahlen Super Series Tournament
March 2015 – Seventeen Academy senior girls along with coaches and parents journeyed to Elma, NY on Saturday (March 7, 2015) to play in the Sahlen Super Series tournament. The girls played 3 games on a full-sized indoor field at Sahlen’s Sports Park against three elite teams, North London (OYSL), Lockport Lightning (NY) and Norwest (NY). This was the very first sanctioned event that Peterborough City Academy has attended. The objective was to gauge where our girls rate against good teams and to see what our weaknesses and strengths are, so we can work on improving their confidence on and off the ball. Overall it was a very satisfying experience, with the team sufficiently mastering a new system of play to earn a win in their final game.

Peterborough City Soccer Academy ID Camp for Girls at Eastgate Park
The new Peterborough City Soccer Academy took to the field on the weekend (August 17/18, 2013) when the first identification camp for girls was held over two days at Eastgate Park. Approximately 65 of this city’s best female athletes between the ages of 10 and 17 years old participated under the watchful eye of the Academy coaching crew.
