Since inception in 1990, the Challenge Cup has been a regular stop for many of Ontario's top club teams. Indeed, The tournament has grown substantially each year. The key factors that keep teams coming back are easily identified: outstanding facilities & fields situated in a beautiful beachfront park, a chance for the whole family to get away to cottage country, on-site camping, the charm of Peterborough, and, of course, a quality soccer event. The 2008 tournament expects to be the best Challenge Weekend yet. Apply Today! The tournament is sponsored by: Ricart Trophies and Screen Printing, Admiral/Soccer Plus International, and the Peterborough City Soccer Club. |

The Mark Forster Memorial Tournament is an annual tournament for Men's, Men's over 35, and Women's club teams.
Mark Forster played soccer in the Peterborough Youth Soccer Club in Peterborough before joining the Peterborough City Soccer Association, playing in the Toronto and District Premier Soccer League.
A skilled and committed young midfield player with a great attitude, Mark quickly became popular with team mates and fans alike.
We lost Mark in 1988 at the age of 25.
In 1990: The City of Peterborough and the Peterborough City Soccer Club erected a plaque at East Gate soccer park (number 1 pitch) in Mark's name.
